4 years agoHouston Rockets center Christian Wood returned to the lineup on Wednesday after a two-game absence and put up an impressive line. Wood struggled with his shot, scoring 14 points on 4 of 12 shooting from the field, though he tallied eight rebounds, three assists, three blocks, two steals, and a three-pointer in 35 minutes. The 25-year-old showed no effects from a non-COVID-related illness that cost him two games, as he was out there for 35 minutes. Wood should be better in the scoring column on Friday against the Celtics, who have struggled against opposing big men this season.--Tim Capurso
