4 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving flirted with a triple-double in Thursday's big win over Charlotte, finishing with 15 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. Many expected him to go off for a big scoring performance with James Harden (hamstring) sitting out, but Kyrie allowed Jeff Green to shine with a game-high 21 points and focused on other areas. He added two blocks on the defensive end with one steal in 34 minutes. Irving, who shot 7-for-17 from the field against the Hornets, averaged 30 points a night last month, and he's been a good scoring run, so we can expect him to put this 15-point performance behind him quickly and start rolling again. The Bulls will try to stop him next on Saturday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
