4 years agoNew York Knicks guard Alec Burks rebounded in Friday's contest after a couple of shaky offensive performances. Burks poured in 20 points with four three-pointers, two boards, a pair of steals, and an assist in 29 minutes off the bench. The 29-year-old knocked down all four free throws and committed just one turnover for the second consecutive game. Before struggling with his shot a bit, Burks had scored 20-plus points in five straight games, so perhaps Friday's game was a step in that direction. He'll take on the Pistons on Saturday. He scored 16 and 9 points in two meetings with the team this season.--Tim Capurso
