4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns carried a massive load on Saturday against Philadelphia, logging 44 minutes in a 122-113 loss. He had a big scoring night with a game-high 39 points on 11-for-13 shooting from the field and a 13-for-14 effort at the charity stripe. Towns, who went 4-for-12 from three-point range, added 14 rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block. KAT has now dropped 30-plus points in three of his last four outings, and he's set for another huge performance on Monday against the Kings, who own the league's worst defense.
