4 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Ty France hit his first home run of the season Saturday, a line-drive shot to left-center field off of San Francisco Giants starter Logan Webb. The blast came off Webb's improved change-up, which was lauded in spring training as possibly among the best in the game, and left the bat with an exit velocity of 111.1 MPH. That exit velocity is harder than any home run the Mariners hit in 2020. France now has a knock in each of the first three games of the season, and has also walked three times. He is wasting no time proving his minor league and spring training numbers were no fluke. He should be added in all fantasy formats.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
