4 years agoMinnesota Twins utility Luis Arraez (illness) is back in the lineup for Tuesday's contest against Detroit. Arraez had to leave Monday's game early due to an illness, though he's evidently feeling better and will resume his spot atop the Twins' lineup as their leadoff hitter against Tigers' right-hander Casey Mize. Arraez is off to a hot start at the plate, as he's reached base safely in 11 of 17 plate appearances, including eight straight. He'll get a good matchup Tuesday against Mize, who ranked in the bottom-five percent of the league's pitchers in expected batting average against last season, albeit in a small sample size.--Tim Capurso
