4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard Jaylen Nowell (shin) will miss Friday's contest against Boston due to a bone bruise on his shin. Nowell's absence marks his third game in a row in street clothes, with head coach Kevin Finch optimistic that Nowell could return to action during the team's upcoming back-to-back Sunday/Monday. When healthy, Nowell has been a bench-scoring dynamo for Minnesota, although he has finished in single digits in each of his last six games. With Malik Beasley (hamstring) sidelined, Nowell could reclaim some of his former fantasy shine, he'll just need to prove healthy first.--Jesse Borek
