4 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Tyler Naquin stayed red-hot in his team's 6-5 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday. Naquin went 1-for-3 with an impressive 454-foot solo homer and two runs in the win. The homer gave Naquin five on the season, good enough for the Major League lead at this early point of the season. Naquin made the team after signing a minor league contract in the offseason and had to put together an excellent spring just to make the team as a reserve outfielder. An injury to Shogo Akiyama and Jesse Winker's week-long bout with the flu opened up a starting role for Naquin. While he may not keep it up all season, Naquin needs to be added off waivers if he's available.--Matt T - RotoBaller
