Lonzo Ball Will Remain Unavailable For Sunday’s Game
4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest versus the Cavaliers due a sore right hip flexor. Eric Bledsoe took over starting PG duties during Friday's game, with Kira Lewis Jr. seeing backup minutes off the bench. Isaiah Thomas could crack the rotation moving forward, but he is not a fantasy-relevant entity at this stage. Zion Williamson tied his season high with eight assists Friday, so he should continue to see an elevated passing role without Ball in the mix as well. The next chance for New Orleans to get their starting PG back comes in a tantalizing matchup Monday against Sacramento.
