4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns almost posted a triple-double in Sunday's 121-117 victory over Chicago, going for 27 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in 37 minutes. He had a pair of blocks as well while shooting 8-for-15 from the field and a perfect 8-for-8 at the foul line. KAT was also solid from behind the arc with a 3-for-7 effort. Towns averaged only 2.2 dimes per game for his career before 2020-21, but he's upped his assists numbers to 4.6 this season and is even averaging 5.5 helpers this month.
