4 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Russell Westbrook notched his fifth consecutive triple-double on Monday, going for 24 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists in a 125-121 win over Utah. He missed all of his three-pointers for the second game in a row but had an efficient night with 8-for-15 shooting from the field and with a 9-for-11 record at the foul line. Russ completed his night with one steal and three turnovers in 39 minutes. This is a huge victory for Washington as the Jazz had posted a franchise record with 24 straight home wins. The team is playing some solid stuff right now, and they'll be full of confidence ahead of the next game, which just happens to be a crush-spot for Westbrook, with Washington taking on the pacy Kings and their league-worst defense on Wednesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
