4 years agoToronto Raptors guards Fred VanVleet (hip) and Gary Trent Jr. (ankle) have been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. The good news is that Vanvleet appears to be over his hip issue, but now he must serve his one-game suspension. The Raptors are resting Kyle Lowry and Trent is unable to play due to an ankle issue. That means that Pascal Siakam will be asked to carry the load on offense, while Malachi Flynn should receive as many minutes as he can handle.
