4 years agoSacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox led all scorers with 27 points in Thursday's 122-114 loss to the Suns, shooting 0-for-4 from downtown but a solid 11-for-21 from the field and 5-for-7 at the charity stripe. He handed out eight dimes and picked up three rebounds and one steal with four turnovers in 40 minutes. Buddy Hield added 24 points with five triples. Fox is having another spectacular month, but the Kings simply can't buy a win right now, and the 23-year-old might play a lesser role down the stretch if the team decides to pull the plug in the playoff race. Fox closes out this week with a tricky matchup against Dallas but starts next week's slate with a pair of games against the T-Wolves, who own the fourth-worst defensive record in the league against opposing point guards.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
