Nick Solak Slugs Second Homer Of Season
4 years agoTexas Rangers second baseman Nick Solak had a strong game during the club's 6-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. The young hitter went 3-for-5 with his second home run of the season. He's now 12-for-48 (.250) with three extra-base hits and two stolen bases after a slow start to the year. Historically, Solak is known for hitting for power with a strong on-base presence but his .396 slugging percentage and BB-K of 1-18 are disappointing results early in the season. Just two years ago, he slugged 32 home runs. Don't give up on Solak just yet as the untapped power and versatility continue to make him an intriguing fantasy option.
