Lonzo Ball Faces Minutes Limit In Return Friday
4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball (hip) has been given the green light to get back into action Friday against the Knicks, although head coach Stan Van Gundy said that he'll be on an unspecified minutes restriction. With Ball having missed each of the team's last four games, and 11 of their past 14, it's likely that he doesn't see considerable run in his first outing back, zapping much of his DFS intrigue. When on the floor during the second half of the year, Ball has been immensely aggressive offensively, launching 9.4 three-point attempts per contest. Despite that, the combo of his minutes cap and facing the Knicks' stout defense likely spells an avoidable scenario except for those with season-long interest.
