4 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic had an unbelievable night as a distributor in a losing effort on Friday against the Knicks. Doncic matched his career-high with 19 assists and only three turnovers in 38 minutes of action. The superstar guard chipped in 22 points, eight rebounds, two triples, and a block- though it wasn't enough to get his team the win. If not for Doncic's heroics on Wednesday, the Mavericks would be in the midst of a four-game slide. He's scored 29-plus points in three of his last four games and produced 19 dimes in the fourth, with a favorable matchup coming up on Saturday against the Kings. They've surrendered the sixth-most FanDuel points to point guards- so Doncic could be in line for a big night.--Tim Capurso
