4 years agoSan Francisco Giants pitcher Logan Webb (vaccine side effects) and relief pitcher Jake McGee (vaccine side effects) have been placed on the COVID-19 injured list. Both players received their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and are feeling some side effects, though with no minimum stay for players placed on the list, the Giants are hoping that both Webb and McGee will be feeling better in the next day or two. Webb was slated to enter the rotation with Johnny Cueto (lat) sidelined while McGee is the current league leader in saves. Wandy Peralta could be the ninth-inning guy if McGee has to miss more time than expected.--Tim Capurso
