4 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (oblique) is still without a timetable for his return. Manager Mike Matheny said on Monday that Mondesi has been lightly moving so that his strained oblique doesn't linger. The Royals are remaining cautious with their talented shortstop and Nicky Lopez will continue play shortstop in his absence. Mondesi is a career .251 hitter and should be able to put up limited power with plenty of stolen bases when he is healthy. Lopez is hitting .282 with three RBI and two stolen bases. He is best served in AL-Only leagues or deeper league--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
