4 years agoSan Antonio Spurs center Jakob Poeltl put in a great shift in Thursday's victory over the Pistons, notching a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds and adding four assists and four blocks. He missed just twice from the field with eight attempts and had a 5-for-6 record at the free-throw line. Poeltl has slowly started to become a double-double machine, and he's also a major force on the defensive end having swatted away 15 shots in his past five appearances. He will rumble against the Pelicans next on Saturday, with Steven Adams (ankle) possibly out for New Orleans. The Kiwi exited Thursday's win over the Magic early.
