4 years agoChicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa has announced that pitcher Michael Kopech will start Sunday's game versus the Texas Rangers. Kopech has been dominant out of the bullpen this year, but his last appearance was as an opener versus the Boston Red Sox last Sunday. In that outing, Kopech went three innings and allowed one hit, one run, one walk and struck out four. Kopech has been throwing the ball very well this year and owns a 1.69 ERA with 17 strikeouts and four walks in 10 2/3 innings. Kopech should already be owned in leagues that have ratio categories and count holds. Kopech will have a favorable matchup against the Rangers Sunday, but it remains to be seen how long La Russa will let him go in the contest.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
