4 years agoIndiana Pacers power forward/center Domantas Sabonis (back) will miss his fifth consecutive contest Tuesday against Portland due to continued back issues. Oshae Brissett and Jakarr Sampson stand to continue seeing elevated minutes totals in the frontcourt with Myles Turner (toe) also unavailable. While a back ailment of any kind is cause for concern, the fact that Indiana has not ruled Sabonis out beyond a day-to-day diagnosis can be seen as a reason for optimism. His next chance to suit up and continue his current six-game double-double streak comes Thursday versus the Nets.--Jesse Borek
