Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Tuesday 4/27

Welcome to the another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Playing in leagues with daily moves, and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you, and all of your streaming needs. Whether you are just trying to get that elusive category win or you are trying to give your pitching staff a lift because you streamed Austin Gomber against the Giants last night, we can help. Each day RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league.

It is important to know your league if you're going to stream. I'm not just talking about which teams your leaguemates root for. I'm talking about whether strikeouts count against you for hitters or if fielding stats are included. Most importantly, you need to know how many transactions you have per week. You don't want to blow your allotment within a couple of days. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from ESPN leagues.

Today we have a full slate, but aces are wild. After the top dozen pitchers, the remaining 18 pitchers are all owned in less than 10% of leagues. We are dumpster-diving today folks!

Hitter Streamers for 4/27 - Shallow Leagues

Isiah Kiner-Falefa (SS/3B, RHB, TEX) - 46.9% Rostered

Matchup: vs. LAA LHP Jose Quintana

The splits are getting worse for Jose Quintana. Righties creamed him in 2019, and they are off to a fast start once again. It's tough to take much of anything away from the 2020 season, so I'm not letting Quintana's relative success in three starts cloud this narrative. Kiner-Falefa has two homers and four steals on the season with 13 runs scored batting near the top of the Texas order. His chances for a counting stat or two today are better than 50-50.

Colin Moran (1B, LHB, PIT) - 37.6% Rostered

Matchup: vs. KC RHP Jake Junis

Junis was good at home last year, but 2021 hasn't been as kind. The 5.25 ERA in 12 home innings leaves a lot to be desired. Somehow, Moran has four homers and 16 RBI to go with a solid .266 average and no one is picking him up. Moran is one of the few bright spots in the Pittsburgh lineup. The SLG and OPS are well above his career averages. Ride him while he's hot.

Adolis Garcia (OF, RHB, TEX) - 34.2% Rostered

Matchup: vs. LAA LHP Jose Quintana

Okay, this doesn't mean that I'm chasing Quintana. It just means that fantasy owners are coming around a lot more slowly than the Texas offense is. Garcia has smacked two homers in four games against the Angels already. Garcia is getting on base and hitting for power as his five homers and 13 RBI can attest. Garcia may be better than a one-off against a lefty.

J.D. Davis (3B, RHB, NYM) 24.4% Rostered

Matchup: vs. BOS RHP Garrett Richards

Richards doesn't scare me in the least. He has been destroyed in two home starts. Davis is hitting a blistering .414 to start the season with a pair of homers and six RBI in 29 at-bats. He will cool off at some point, but I doubt it's in this series at Fenway. Davis has hit righties and lefties equally well in his career so far.

Hitter Streamers for 4/27 - Deep Leagues

Nico Hoerner (2B/SS, RHB, CHC) - 13% Rostered

Matchup: @ ATL RHP Ian Anderson

It took an injury to Javier Baez to get playing time for Hoerner, but he has hit the ground running. He has two multi-hit games in five tries, and though he has yet to hit for power, Hoerner does have three RBI and he is batting leadoff. The Cubs are finally scoring some runs. Hoerner batting leadoff at a .429 clip is a great find in deep leagues and DFS alike.

Albert Pujols (1B, RHB, LAA) - 5.8% Rostered

Matchup: at TEX RHP Mike Foltynewicz

This one is a simple decision. Mike Foltynewicz has always had issues with the long ball, but this is nuts. He has allowed eight homers, the most in the majors, in just 22 innings this season. Albert Pujols, who is only 6% owned, has five homers on the season. You can deal with Pujols killing your average for one day if you take a shot at a homer here and miss.

Stephen Piscotty (OF, RHB, OAK) - 3.5% Rostered

Matchup: at TB RHP Michael Wacha

Wacha has some severe reverse splits. Righties crush him. They always have. Piscotty has some good power, but he has never hit for average. In deep leagues, you have to take the good with the bad, and Piscotty is likely the only Oakland righty that's available on your waiver wire. I want to take a few shots at Wacha tonight. This is the way to do that.

Austin Slater (OF, RHB, SF) - 4% Rostered

Matchup: vs. COL RHP Chi Chi Gonzalez

Gonzalez has been a solid pitcher, but this is more aimed at Slater batting leadoff for the Giants. He has two homers and four steals on the young season and is hitting .279 in the last ten games. Slater is a cheap source of runs and steals right now.

Pitcher Streamers for 4/27 - Shallow Leagues

Aaron Sanchez (RHP, SF) - 7.4% Rostered

Matchup: vs. Colorado

When you take the Rockies out of Coors, they quit hitting. Only Nolan Arenado and Charlie Blackmon held their own away from Coors last year. One is now in St. Louis and the other one is scuffling at the plate. Meanwhile, Sanchez has enjoyed a rebirth, posting a 1.83 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in his four 2021 starts. The issue with Sanchez is that he doesn't strike out a lot of guys, but the Rockies are hitting just .230 against righties. That's 54 points lower than lefties. Add in the .209 away average and 27.1% K rate against righties, and there is plenty of upside for Sanchez. He should be owned in far more leagues than he is.

Pitcher Streamers for 4/27 - Deep Leagues

Adrian Houser (RHP, MIL) - 4.7% Rostered

Matchup: vs. MIA

Advertising

The Marlins have been terrible against righties this year, hitting just .219 against them with a 28.9% K rate. Take them out of the Fish Tank, and they are even worse, hitting just .221 on the road. Don't throw Houser out there expecting miracles. He's 5% owned for a reason. The 3.32 ERA is nice enough, but the 1.53 WHIP can kill your ratios. His low strikeout rate leaves something to be desired as well. Still, he has faced the Twins and Padres this year and only allowed four runs combined in those games. He could come out of this with a decent start.
