Kyle Seager Hits Fourth Homer
4 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager was responsible for one of two solo home runs in Seattle's loss to Houston Monday night. Seager's blast came in the sixth inning off Astros starter Jose Urquidy. Seager also added a single in the contest. While Seager's batting average has dipped to .247 after a hot start, his slugging percentage remains at an excellent .472. Perhaps more importantly, Seager now leads the American League with 35 hard-hit balls, indicating that perhaps he's been a bit unlucky in the power department. He's a quality add, and should be rostered in all leagues if he is not already.
