Sacramento Inks Damian Jones To Multi-Year Deal
4 years agoSacramento Kings center Damian Jones has not only been signed for the remainder of the 2020-21 year, the team was so impressed with his upside in his six games with the organization that he is now under contract for next year as well. In 15.5 minutes per contest, Jones has averaged 3.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game while shooting 61.5 percent overall. Having been a starter with the Warriors and Hawks in the past, Jones appears to have stuck with the Kings after having appeared with the Suns and Lakers earlier this year. Fantasy managers can anticipate Jones becoming Richuan Holmes' primary backup, likely knocking the vast majority of fantasy shine from Chimezie Metu and Hassan Whiteside.
