4 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Luis Torrens provided plenty of offense against the Houston Astros Wednesday, going 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs scored. Torrens seemed to have Zack Greinke's number as both hits came off the accomplished starter. Torrens is off to a difficult start to the year, with a .190 batting average and .535 OPS, but he's traditionally hit the ball hard, so maybe this will be a turning point for the young backstop. If he receives the playing time, Torrens could be a fantasy consideration in two-catcher leagues.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
