4 years agoCharlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball (wrist) and shooting guard Malik Monk (ankle) have both been deemed questionable to suit up for Saturday's contest versus the Pistons. Ball's potential return to action is the headliner here, as the Rookie of the Year candidate had been averaging 15.9 points, 6.1 assists and 5.9 rebounds per game before undergoing wrist surgery that had originally been expected to end his year. A return from Ball would cut into Devonte' Graham's recent hot stretch as Charlotte attempts to nail down a playoff spot. Monk has not played since April 1 due to a sprained right ankle, as his return would give the Hornets another explosive scorer off the bench.--Jesse Borek
