4 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (knee) and shooting guard J.J. Redick (heel) have both been ruled out for Saturday's contest versus Washington. Porzingis will have played just once in Dallas' past five games, seeing only 21 minutes in that lone outing. The move could be somewhat precautionary with the Mavericks playing the first leg of a back-to-back Saturday, but it's apparent that Porzingis is far from 100 percent healthy down the stretch. Redick has become a reliable member of the team's second unit over the past three weeks, but his 12.4 minutes per game average since joining Dallas caps his fantasy ceiling. The next chance that either player has to return comes Sunday against the Kings.--Jesse Borek
