4 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic did all he could to try to lead his team to their sixth straight victory- but his efforts fell just short in Monday's loss to the Lakers. Jokic scored 32 points with nine boards, five assists, two steals, a block, and a three-pointer in 36 minutes of action. The Serbian big man has now dropped 30-plus points in three of his last four games and sits atop Basketball Reference's MVP Award Tracker list. Jokic gets a good matchup against the Knicks on Wednesday. They allowed a 22-10-5 line to Jokic back in January.--Tim Capurso
