FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Cash Game/GPP Anchor Play:
Jacob deGrom - NYM vs. ARI ($12,500)
Even though deGrom has a 12.5k price tag, he should be the best arm to target in cash games. On the season, deGrom has started five games with three of those games eclipsing the 60 point mark over on FD. He has gotten a quality start in every game so far and has hit 14 strikeouts or more in three of those games. As a team, Arizona is batting .230 against right-handed pitchers this year but rank 7th overall with 230 strikeouts to this handedness. With it being a large slate, we can find value with bats which makes rostering deGrom a must in cash games.
Alternate Play(s)
Sandy Alcantara - MIA vs. MIL ($9,000)
Alcantara will draw the start for the Marlins on Sunday afternoon and there is a lot to like about his matchup against the Brewers. Alcantara has been very solid for Miami this year as he is 1-2 with a 2.95 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP. Milwaukee leads the league with 263 strikeouts to right-handed pitchers and is only batting .210 as a team when they are on the road against this handedness. Alcantara has pitched well at home this year as opposing teams are only batting .200 against him and he has accumulated 30 strikeouts in 24 innings pitched in his home ballpark. If you're needing some salary relief from deGrom, Alcantara would be one to pivot to.

FanDuel DFS Infielders
Andrew Vaughn - 1B/ OF, CWS @ KCR ($2,200)
With some great pitching options, we will need some great value options for our lineups. Andrew Vaughn should draw into the lineup for the White Sox and he would be one to consider. Vaughn has some great splits on the year as he is crushing left-handed pitching with a .353 batting average and having four doubles in 17 at-bats. Vaughn is sporting a .231 ISO against lefties this year
Nick Senzel - 2B/OF, CIN @ CLE ($2,400)
Senzel has been on a little bit of a hitting streak as he has recorded a hit in six of his lasts even games that he has played. Senzel is excelling at hitting left-handed pitching this year as he is batting .375 against this handedness and should be able to take advantage of his matchup against Hentges for Cleveland. Hentges throws three pitches which Senzel makes contact 84%+ to all three of those pitch types.
Kris Bryant - 3B, CHC vs. PIT ($4,300)
Bryant has been seeing the ball very well this year as he is hitting .304 on the season with nine home runs. He has been exceptional against lefty pitchers as he is hitting .417 against them with four home runs and faces a lefty in Tyler Anderson. Bryant is sporting a .344 ISO and a .486 XwOBA against this handedness this season and with Anderson throwing primarily his fastball, changeup, and cutter to righties, these are all three pitches that Bryant profiles well against.
Eugenio Suarez, 3B/SS, CIN @ CLE ($3,100)
We will go back to the Suarez well once again especially after it worked last Sunday for us. Suarez is having a rough start to the year but he is certainly due to get going soon. Suarez profiles well against Hentges as he has a .266 ISO and a .477 XwOBA against lefty pitchers. While he is a riskier pick for cash games, he is certainly in play as a tournament pick due to his upside in this matchup. Hentges throws his fastball 50% to right-handed batters and Suarez has a .214 ISO and a .419 XwOBA against this fastball type so if he can get a few of these thrown his way, he might be able to turn on one and knock it out.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Giancarlo Stanton - OF, NYY vs. WSH ($3,600)
We always want to look at guys that are swinging a hot bat and one of those guys right now has been Stanton. Stanton has hit a home run in three of his last five games played and has accumulated eight hits in his last 21 plate appearances. He draws a favorable matchup against Joe Ross who throws a fastball, slider, and sinker to righties most of the time. Stanton sports a .200+ ISO as well an XwOBA of .500+ against all three of these pitches so look to Stanton for having some upside in this matchup.
Michael Conforto - OF, NYM vs. ARI ($3,200)
Today is the day where deGrom gets some run support and Conforto will be the guy to do just that. Conforto has a .244 ISO and a .444 XwOBA against right-handed pitchers this year and Riley Smith has a flyball rate of 41% against lefty batters. Smith primarily throws a sinker 63% of the time to lefties and this is a pitch that Conforto dominates as he has a .396 ISO and a .492 XwOBA against it.
Hunter Renfroe - OF, BOS @ BAL ($2,500)
Hunter Renfroe has been a nice surprise for the Red Sox this season and he is swinging a hot bat right now. He has recorded a hit in six of his last seven games played and is batting .323 during that stretch of games. He has an ISO of .218 against right-handed pitchers and is generating either medium or hard contact 87% of the time which is encouraging to see. Dean Kremer is the opposing pitcher and he throws a fastball, cutter, and a knuckle-curve, and Renfroe profiles really well against the cutter (.567 ISO) so if he sees one that he likes, he can certainly turn on one.
