4 years agoBoston Celtics center Robert Williams III (toe) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Chicago and may not be back on the floor in the near future. Head coach Brad Stevens was unsure of Williams' availability for any time over the next seven days, which essentially represents the remainder of the regular season. Williams' absence stands to open the door for Tristan Thompson to carry a sizable workload in the frontcourt. Having emerged as a near must-own season-long fantasy asset during March/early April, Williams had averaged just 6.8 over his last four games; with his return entirely up in the air, those managers in playoff scenarios can look elsewhere for production.--Jesse Borek
