Christian Wood, Jae'Sean Tate Will Miss Friday’s Game
4 years agoHouston Rockets center Christian Wood (ankle) and shooting guard/small forward Jae'sean Tate (knee) have been ruled out for Friday's contest, putting the team in a massively short-handed scenario. Injuries have eviscerated Houston's roster to wrap up the year, with Wood and Tate figuring to be two future pieces that the team hopes to keep as healthy as possible. It has been a breakout year for Wood, who has averaged 21 points and 9.6 boards per game, while Tate has played his way into All-Rookie team consideration with 11.2 PPG on 51.3 percent shooting overall. Danuel House Jr. and Kelly Olynyk are two names to target for offensive upside, but with just eight players active, any Rocket seems to have DFS intrigue.
