4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Steven Matz improved to 5-2 on the season in the team's 8-4 win over the Astros on Saturday. The lefty struck out four over five innings while allowing three runs on eight hits and no walks in the 92-pitch effort. Matz has cooled off since his first three superb starts of the season as his ERA and WHIP are now up to 4.86 and 1.27 on the season. Without his five wins his stats don't offer much for fantasy, so he's fallen off the 12-team radar, but there's still some streamer appeal in deeper formats. Matz will get the Phillies in Dunedin in his next contest which isn't a matchup that's very appealing on paper.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
