De'Andre Hunter Will Suit Up For Monday’s Contest
4 years agoAtlanta Hawks small forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) has been given the green light to get back into action Monday against Washington. Hunter hadn't taken the floor since March 24 due to a sore right knee, having played a combined 46 minutes since Jan. 29. When healthy, Hunter has taken a significant leap forward in production this season, averaging 16 PPG on 50.2 percent shooting overall. Due to his extended absence, Hunter is likely to face a heavily monitored workload both Monday and over the final few games of the regular season, which stands to hamper his season-long and DFS intrigue. His return could scuttle Kevin Huerter or Bogdan Bogdanovic's workload, although Nate McMillan's rotations remain still to be determined.
