4 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Russell Westbrook notched his 182nd career triple-double in Monday's loss to Atlanta, breaking Oscar Robertson's NBA record for most triple-doubles in the league. He finished a 125-124 loss with 28 points, 21 assists and 13 rebounds, shooting 10-for-22 from the field and 3-for-7 from downtown with a 5-for-5 record at the foul line. 36 of Westbrook's triple-doubles have come this season and his teams are now 136-46 in games in which he has finished with a triple-double. Monday's triple-double was his fifth against the Hawks, meaning that Westbrook has posted five-plus triples-doubles against 22 of the 30 teams in the NBA. Washington plays Atlanta again on Wednesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
