Josh Rojas Extends Hitting Streak To 11 Games
4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks utility man Josh Rojas remained hot at the plate on Wednesday night, going 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in a 3-2 loss to the Marlins. Rojas extended his hitting streak to 11 games, as he is now slashing .441/.472/.765 with two home runs, three RBI and 10 runs scored in the month of May. This is the version of Josh Rojas managers had been looking for after a remarkable Spring Training performance, but he had struggled out the gates by slashing .200/.304/.383. If he's still available on the waiver-wire, managers should make every effort to scoop him up while he's hot.
