4 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal (hamstring) made a surprise return to the floor in Sunday's clash with the Hornets, finishing a 115-110 win with 25 points. He informed head coach Scott Brooks of his readiness to return only half an hour before tipoff. It didn't look like a great decision initially when Beal missed all six of his first shots, but he had a decent game in the end with 8-for-27 shooting, six rebounds, four assists and one steal. Beal logged 35 minutes and went 3-for-11 from downtown and 6-for-7 at the foul line with three turnovers. He'll be back on the court on Tuesday in a play-in game against the Celtics, who will probably have nightmares of Beal ahead of the clash. He's averaged 40.7 points in the matchup this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
