4 years agoPhoenix Suns point guard Cameron Payne earned his first start of the year on Sunday against San Antonio, putting together a 19-4-6 line with one steal and two turnovers in a 123-121 win. Chris Paul and Devin Booker were both rested, which opened up backcourt minutes and a starters spot. Payne shot 7-for-14 in the game with a 3-for-6 effort from deep and a 3-for-3 success rate at the foul line. Payne has come through with some solid depth scoring lately, averaging 16.3 points in his last six outings. The Suns will hope that he can maintain the form during the playoffs.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
