4 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic wrapped up his outstanding regular season with 21 points in 17 minutes on Sunday against Portland. He missed all three attempts from deep but shot a solid 9-for-17 from the field and went 3-for-3 at the charity stripe in a 132-116 loss. The Joker played in every game during the regular season, averaging 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.3 assists. He shot 56.6 percent from the field and 38.8 percent from downtown. It looks likely that Jokic will be the MVP for the season, but the individual award won't mean much without playoff success.
