4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Adbert Alzolay went five innings in his second victory of the season versus the Washington Nationals on Monday. Alzolay only made 63 pitches, but allowed three runs off of a solo shot by Trea Turner and a two-run home run by Kyle Schwarber. He also gave up five hits with no walks and three strikeouts. Alzolay has looked good this season, but 63% of his runs allowed this season have been via the long ball. Alzolay will look to go deeper into the ballgame in his next start versus the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday and has strong upside for those searching for a starter in deeper mixed leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
