4 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres is back in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Texas Rangers. Torres hasn't played since May 11 after testing positive for COVID-19- though he was asymptomatic, which ensured that his return would be quicker than the normally required 10 days. The 24-year-old will start at shortstop and bat fifth against Rangers' left-hander Hyeon-Jong Yang. Before being sidelined, Torres was 4-for-13 with a home run, three RBI, and a run scored.--Tim Capurso
