4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers utility man Zach McKinstry (oblique) will begin his rehab assignment at Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday. Manager Dave Roberts was unsure on how long of a stint that McKinstry would need before returning, but he is trending in the right direction. McKinstry came out of nowhere to start the season with a .296 batting average and three home runs to go along with 14 RBI, but he's been sidelined since April 22 with a right oblique strain. McKinstry should get some run in the starting lineup with outfielders A.J. Pollock (hamstring), Cody Bellinger (leg) and shortstop Corey Seager (hand) and all sidelined. Now would be the time to stash McKinstry and he is worth a look in deeper mixed leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
