4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Adbert Alzolay suffered a tough loss on Saturday versus the St. Louis Cardinals. Alzolay threw seven strong innings, but the Cubs offense couldn't do enough to help him out. Alzolay allowed five hits, two runs, zero walks and struck out six on the evening. Saturday was his longest outing of the season and manager David Ross continues to show more confidence in the young hurler. Alzolay has looked very sharp this season and should be rostered in all formats. Next up for Alzolay is a date versus a good hitting Cincinnati Reds team on Friday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
