4 years agoMinnesota Twins first/third baseman Miguel Sano went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's win over the Baltimore Orioles. The Twins' offense was quiet until Sano stepped up in the bottom of the sixth inning. The slugger delivered a big, two-out homer off of Orioles' starter Jorge Lopez to give Minnesota a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Sano's blast was a no-doubter, as it traveled 426 feet at an exit velocity of 114.1 MPH with a .950 expected batting average. Sano is still batting just .183, but he has clubbed seven of his nine homers in May and has seen a dramatic increase in his barrel and hard-hit rates during the hot stretch. He's a definite hold, though fantasy managers in roto formats will want to make sure they can take the batting average hit.--Tim Capurso
