3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a walk, and two strikeouts in a 3-2 win over the Rangers on Tuesday. Blackmon put the Rockies on the board in the bottom of the first inning with an RBI single off of Dane Dunning. It was his only hit of the day but he did reach once more with a walk. The 34-year-old dropped to fifth in the batter order after mostly batting third and cleanup over the last month. The Rockies are known to tinker with their lineup frequently so it shouldn't be a permanent move. Blackmon got off to a brutally slow start in April but picked it up in May, hitting .310 with a .848 OPS. Overall, he's got a .250/.353/.378 batting line to go along with three home runs and 26 RBI over 164 at-bats.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
