3 years agoShane Lowry has a tendency to just linger around in tournaments. At the PGA, his three-under 69 on Sunday lifted him to a fourth-place finish few saw coming. His final rounds in the past three tournaments have been rather good. The form is there at least. He won The Open two years ago but his ability to lurk in tournaments always makes him a possibility to at least contend in Ohio. The question is can he drive the ball just long enough to let the rest of his game work for him. Even the first hole (490 yard par 4) will test him.
