3 years agoPatrick Reed loves Torrey Pines and Torrey Pines loves him. He won the Farmers Insurance Open in January and has never finished outside the top-25 on the course. A lot of his metrics scream stay away but he finds a way to contend at big tournaments. He finished fifth at The Memorial last week behind a double 69 on the weekend. It felt like Reed was going to shoot over par each round and didn't. Then again, his game is based a lot on his abilities around the green. Add that in with 0.85 strokes gained putting (fourth on tour) and one gets the idea why Reed is one to watch. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
