3 years agoVictor Perez has had a rough time of it on this side of the pond. He has missed cuts in the last three tournaments. Yet, he was fourth at the World Golf Championship - Dell. Also, at The Players Championship, Perez managed a tied for ninth. The biggest problem in the previous three tournaments was a bad first-round start. Perez shot over par in each one and put himself in danger of missing the cut each time. This was punctuated by a +4 at The Memorlal two weeks ago that caused him to miss the weekend. Errant shots and lack of distance may be an omen of another short stay at Torrey Pines South. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
