3 years agoSungjae Im will make his third career US Open start this week and fourth appearance at Torrey Pines. Im finished 22nd at last year's US Open, and his best career finish at Torrey Pines was T32 earlier this season. Im is a solid ball-striker and accurate with approach shots, so that will be important this week. He also ranks 45th on Tour in Par 5 scoring. Im is solid scrambler, and that is paramount at any US Open. Look for Im to have a solid outing this week if he can continue to hit it straight and putt well.--Connor Wege
