Spencer Dinwiddie Cleared From Knee Injury
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie (knee) has been cleared to resume basketball activities. Dinwiddie played just three games this season before succumbing to a partial ACL tear in his right knee. The 28-year-old is expected to decline his $12.3 million option to test the market heading into the 2021-22 campaign, so teams will undoubtedly want to see him healthy before offering big money. However, with a weak free agency class up ahead, the veteran is still likely to draw plenty of interest from multiple clubs, although a sign-and-trade deal may be orchestrated by the Nets, who could retain his services via Bird Rights.
