Kawhi Leonard Unlikely For Game 5
3 years agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (knee) likely won't travel to Phoenix with his teammates. While this isn't a surprising revelation, it nearly confirms that the 29-year-old may have played his final game of the year, primarily with the team looking at elimination. Leonard suffered an ACL injury in his right knee during the previous series against the Utah Jazz. Although nothing has been confirmed, fantasy managers also shouldn't rule out the possibility of surgery at some point during the offseason. Of course, the veteran can decide to opt-out after the postseason. However, if surgery is on the table, L.A. may be on the hook for another $36 million for a player who may not play an entire season.
